PinCH - A New Engineering Software Tool to Increase Energy Efficiency and Profitability in the Process Industries

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts - Engineering and Architecture, with the support of the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) and the “Energie-Agentur der Wirtschaft” (EnAW), has developed the user-friendly software for application of the classical pinch analysis method in the process industries. The software allows for rapid incorporation into the method and can be applied in a goal orientated and low cost manner. Thus, pinch analyses for small and medium-sized enterprises are possible.
